FoodShoot - intermediate steps and current features

Our first game will probably be finished during the next month. Because of this, we like to show you some intermediate steps of development and information about current features.

Current implemented features/ content:
  • 3 playable worlds with 5 levels each
  • endless mode
  • 3 world bosses
  • sensor- & softkey control

Bake the cake - and hope it'll be tasty

After visiting the GamesCom and preparing for school exams, we continue with the development of our first game. There's still a lot to do, but we try our best to finish the game in time.
The estimated completion date is early in November 2013.

Hi guys.
Our pretty old website is gone, and we finally got our own domain. Check out our new homepage. =)

Adding ingedients

the game is coming along. Slowly but surely.

Programming| We already have integrated an online mode so that players get the possibility to upload their highscores and accounts (scores, player level, profile name, players avatar). The option to view other players profiles and rankings is planned as well. =)
Art/Design| Furthermore we are currently optimizing the game interface to make it more suitable for mobile phones and the first 5 ingame bosses are already created. Now we are about to draw them all and to put them into the game.

Preparing the buffet

We started our first project and like to introduce some basic facts about the game.
There will be no pictures yet, because we are still working on some concept arts, to choose a nice style.

The game will be an Android 2D top-down scroller shooter ^^ The design will be something cute, we think.
Planned is a reward system, an ingame story as red line through the game and maybe an online function.
The prototype is still finished, but needs to be feeded with some content now. ^-^

Unfortunately we cannot update that regular, because of our studies, but we'll do our best to keep you up to date.

The first entry- Introduction part

Hello to all you people who found us. Welcome to our blog.
We are PixelWave-Games. A small german team of game-students who love developing PC and Android games.
Our team consists of one programmer and an artist. Together we design new, and redesign well-tried games.

With this blog, we'd like to introduce games we work on and maybe to spark interest for one or two games.
